The Liebert GXT3 2000 is a rack mountable 2U uninterruptible power supply with 2000VA and 1800 watt, it can also be installed in tower configuration, it is sometimes paired up with one or more GXT3-48Vbatt which is a external extended cabinet battery module which results in a longer runtime of your system, we have included a link further down the page to these batteries as well if its applicable.

Replacing the batteries in this system is quite easy, although you should refer to your owners manual for full instructions they are generally as follows. Pull off the front cover, below this you will see the battery door which is being held on with 6 screws, once undone you can remove the screws and the cover, now you will be able to see the battery pack, pull it our about 2 inches and then you will be able to unclip the connector between it and the UPS and so you can then completely pull out the battery pack, care its quite heavy. Now you will be able to see the four batteries and connecting wiring loom, its only two cable on each battery but our advice at this point is to take a quick photo on your phone, you never need if you need something to refer back to if you get disturbed half way through with a knock on the door or even a phone call, you know it makes sense, then its just a matter of swapping over the batteries and replace in reverse order, remembering that when you put the pack back in to reconnect the cable before you put the door back on.
These batteries are Sealed, they will not leak if mounted on their side so can be used in rack or tower configurations.
