The new batteries that we dispatch out to you will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to fulfil and complete a service charge after installing, you should be mindful that while this short charge time is still taking place you will not have the full runtime protection, if you have the opportunity, maybe of an evening, it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level
You will find that some financial houses will change the batteries every year regardless, but you can expect a life span of between 2-5 years, this is not a set rule though life span will change depending on how they are used, one thing to make sure is the vents have access cool air, quite often they are tucked under desks or other such warm places with little ventilation, the batteries will get hot that's normal, but the hotter they are the shorter their lifespan will be, the higher the constant load applied the harder its working which directly relates to battery life, if you can try to keep it below 40%
