This size battery is used in many devices from mission critical interruptible power supplies to children's ride on toys, very versatile and tough batteries that can withstand and excel in many environments
If you are using this battery in a device that is constantly connected to the mains like a UPS system then it will probably last many years and the system will look after the charging regime for you, if its going in to some thing that require a manual charge then do so before first use, after every use and if in store for long periods every 8-weeks, its when the cells are semi or fully discharged that they can start to degrade so to extend life expectancy keep them charged
