This offer is for a set of Gel batteries which are often used in mobility scooters and powered chairs, most mobility vehicle mobility makers recommend both AGM and GEL batteries for there mobility scooters and power chairs, Bother are sealed and both require no maintenance, the GEL type of battery is capable of taking deeper discharges over a longer period than the AGM so if this is the case will last longer than the AGM, but if you only ever discharge to 50% then they will have a similar life span, so the usage is probably linked closer to battery charging regime, the GEL batteries are more expensive that there AGM counterparts for this reason.

As with all rechargeable batteries you should charge fully before first use, where possible charge as soon as you can after each and every use, although you can deep cycle GEL batteries more times than AGM it is not something you want to do if you can help it, never try to deliberately discharge them, this will only shorten the life span, if they are not being used for long periods then charge every 8-weeks or so to keep the cells active
