This battery has upright terminals that can take a M5-sized nut and bolt. This ensures a good connection and the ability to have larger cables attached to it. You might find this type of battery pack used in a small multi-use jump starter pack or a generator to start the engine.

The construction type of the battery pack is valve-regulated sealed lead AGM VRLA. It will not spill and can be mounted on its side without issues, so it is ideal for portable devices.
