This replacement battery has the required flag-type NB terminals that will be needed and the ability to take an M5-sized bolt.
AGM sealed lead battery pack, valve regulated, vented to allow gasses to escape in the case of overcharging. The battery will not leak even if mounted on its side and is suitable for use in garden equipment.
These batteries with the nut and bolt fitment are not readily available so it's worth looking after them. Charge fully when they arrive and is first used, this should not take long as they will be almost fully charged. If you are not using your battery very often, perhaps the equipment is spending the winter in a shed, then remember to recharge the battery every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
It will typically take upto ten charges and use in the equipment before its able to accept a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and part of the conditioning processs that all rechargebale batteries have to endure.
The battery requires no maintenance, but that does not mean it it can be ignored, we have tried to give you some charging tips above, lack of attention to its needs is the most likly candidate for a shorter life span.
