I've compiled detailed information and specifications for a replacement battery pack for an AP12-45 (12V, 50Ah sealed lead acid). They are non-spillable and can be used in portable, transportable devices like mobility scooters or fixed systems, such as UPS systems; they can also be deep-cycled.
These AGM batteries require no maintenance, except, of course, charging. They will not leak and are safe and non-hazardous; they are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) and safe to use in mobile-type equipment.

Your new battery doesn't need maintenance, but it does need charging. Unless it's going into an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with its own built-in charging circuit, please charge it when you first receive the order from us and before use. We strongly recommend charging after every use; if you leave the device unused for long periods, you'll need a top-up charge every four weeks.
