Please charge your new compatible Yuasa NP65-12 battery when it arrives and is first used. If you're going into something that requires interaction for charging, do so as soon as possible after every use. It will never be a good idea to allow them to sit in a partially discharged state.
If not being used, then ensure it's put away fully charged and charge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
It will take several charges and use in the equipment before the cells will be able to accept a full capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through.
