SY1270 Shen Yang 12v sealed AGM battery replacement.
Replacement Shen Yang SY1270 battery, 12v sealed lead acid valve regulated, VRLA, 7-amp hour AGM rechargeable batteries.
This type of battery is used in a great deal of applications and are generally used as either a back up battery with constant mains power or as stand alone that needs charging between uses.
If you are using it in something that is plugged into the mains power all the time like a security door, hoist or other, then your on board charger takes care of the battery keeping it in tip top condition.
If you use it off mains as a power source such as portable device then you need to take care of the charging regime to get the most from the battery pack, you should therefore follow a few simple rules to maximise the potential of your battery.
Firstly note that will take up to ten cycles for the battery to reach full capacity and be conditioned, after use charge the battery straight away after use, you should not leave it in a partially or fully discharged state for any time, if they are not being used for longer periods then charge every four or five weeks to keep the residual charge topped up.
