The best way to look after your new battery is to keep it charged, charge when it arrives and before the first use. Recharge it as soon as you can after every use, every time you run it down you will shorten its life. So it is best to charge back up as soon as you can. If you are not using it for long periods then recharge every eight weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than twenty-four hours.
