This is a very popular size battery which is used in a lot of products. from essential portable medical monitoring equipment to high powered torches, even portable vacuums and children's ride-on toy trains and cars.
The battery is safe to use as a valve-regulated battery or VRLA, it is a sealed lead acid type that is suspended in a glass mat that is absorbed or AGM. this means that the battery cannot leak and can be mounted on its side making it ideal for use in a portable device. this tough battery is capable of receiving knocks and still perform offering a non-hazardous form of energy storage.
No maintenance is required. it does however need charging, do not allow the battery to become discharged. it is better to charge after every use and straight away rather than leave it discharged. You should charge the battery is full when you receive it from us and before you use it. it will take several charges, probably between six and nine before the battery will reach full capacity. if you are not using the battery for long periods after the initial charging then charge it every six or seven weeks. this will ensure the plates are full of energy and the battery will last much longer.
