Yes this is the correct battery, the easiest thing to do with the old connectors if you do not have the ability to solder them is to snip off very close to the battery ensuring you have sufficient cable length and apply a pair of flat spade terminals, these can be bought from many places like car spare shops for probably about 10p, this will make it easier to replace the battery next time around.
