Replacement Universal-UB634 sealed lead battery pack, rechargeable small valve-regulated 6v 3.2ah batteries, often seen in alarm systems at a low price.
These small and compact 6v sealed lead batteries are often found in alarm systems where they reside for many years at a time. this is because the onboard system charges them correctly and they last, sometimes more than a decade but of course you should check them after a few years as you do not want to find out they no longer work when it's too late, just put a meter across the terminals to check the voltage.
When you placed and received your order of batteries from us they will have a fairly high charge in them, but you still need to instigate a full charge before first use. however, if it's a battery backup for something that's always connected to the mains with its built-in charging circuit like a monitor or maybe an alarm system then you do not need to charge it first as the system will do that for you. just charge them until your charger LED lights to indicate that they are ready, it will probably not take very long, you may well be impatient and want to use the equipment without charging for the first time but it's worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend the overall life expectancy.
It's not something that most will even notice but if being used in a portable device it may take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge can be reached, it's all part of the normal conditioning process, letting your new batteries sit in a discharged state. even partially is not a good idea, so if being used in a portable device as soon as you have used them put them back on charge, you cannot rejuvenate this kind of battery by deliberately running them down, going out of your way to fully discharge the batteries will reduce their life span, so do not do it. there may well be extended periods where the batteries are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged fully beforehand and then recharged every 4 to 6-weeks but do not leave them on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
These are 6v valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries and will not leak sealed lead acid. the acid is held within a glass mattering and will not leak, no maintenance is required, they are both AGM and VRLA, of course, they are the required deep cycle kind and they are not hazardous so safe for use in portable equipment, medical and indoors.
