When you receive your new order from us the batteries will be almost fully charged but even so you will still need to complete this charge before first use, it should not take that long to finish the charge, just until the charger lights indicates its ready, if really in doubt overnight will be more than enough but it's doubtful you would need to leave it that long, you may well be impatient enough just to fit and use the equipment without charging but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life expectancy
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, as soon as you after each use put them back on charge, do not allow them to sit in a discharged state, never try to discharge the batteries, with this type of technology it will only mean a shorter life, If there are extended periods where the batteries are not being used then ensure they are fully charged beforehand then recharged every four weeks but you should not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
