The battery pack needs no maintenance, will not spill any liquid as it is sealed, please remember to charge your new sealed lead acid battery before use, and try to keep topped up, the most damage to sealed lead acid batteries is done when it is allowed to get flat, it is far better to charge after use than when its been allowed to become flat.
