Sealed rechargeable deep-cycle 12v-22Ah AGM battery with upright nut and bolt LUG terminal adapters to directly replace 17ah, 18ah and 20ah.

We are pleased to be able to offer a 12v-22ah battery that comes with terminal adapters that change it from M5 (female) Bolt down to upright nut and bolt LUG terminal with 6mm hole. This battery can be useful for devices that require a tight fit around the terminals, have short cables that don’t allow for adjustment or where a t-bar is needed.

The 22Ah is an upgrade from the 18Ah battery giving you longer runtime in-between charges, more ampere for starting situations and more importantly more charge left in the battery after use as the more you discharge the battery the more damage that can occur.

Although this battery is maintenance free it still requires a healthy charging regime which is taken care of if being installed into a device with its own power supply. The problems can arise when charging is left to the user but if you follow these few simple rules then you should get the most use out of it. First, charge until full upon delivery/before first use but never leave on charge for more than required. Secondly and most importantly, do not try to run it all the way down and always charge until full as soon as you can after using. Last tip is that if the battery will not be in use for long periods of time then a top up charge will help keep the cells fresh.

Since they are terminal adapters they can be taken off to reveal the normal M5 bolt down terminals if they are required instead giving you more freedom during installation, also supplied with brand new screws, washers and nuts.
