This battery requires no maintenance, and if you ride your bike all year round, you will be looking after your battery in the best way. If, however, there are periods where you are not riding it like the winter, then the best advice would be to remove the battery or at least disconnect it from the frame. Charge it again every eight weeks, storing it in a frost-free place but do not leave it on the charger for more than twenty-four hours.

Take note that batteries left on the bike for periods of zero use will slowly discharge, maybe quicker if there is drainage of sorts and may spell the early demise of the battery. The best advice is to use it. We do not like the use of optimisers, the theory is good, but unless you have a good one, perhaps from a marine one, they do not always do what is written on the tin. While better than nothing, they can be a risky gamble. Far better to do it manually, as already described.
