The Yamaha TZR250 has a two stroke liquid cooled 249cc twin engine with 6-speed gearbox to chain drive, a great track bike in its day, this wonderfully noisy 2-stroke could certainly get the senses going both audibly and aromatic as the atmosphere filled with burnt two stroke oil, one of a series of motorbikes based on track days it was no slouch but in this fast moving arena faster lighter and better handling machines are always just round the corner voicing a early but unwanted early demise of the production.
