Charge your new battery when it arrives, although it will almost have a full charge on delivery. If the lawnmower is not used weekly all year round and spends some of the seasons in the garage then its important to care for the battery. Our best advice would be the disconnect from frame and recharge every six weeks, do not leave on charger though, just until complete and remove.
