Keep your new Husqvarna GTH200 GTH2248 XP and GTH225 lawn mower tractor battery fully charged—charge when it arrives and for the first use. If you are not using it during the winter season, then our best advice would be to remove it from the machinery, or at least disconnect it from the frame, charge it thoroughly, then store it somewhere dry, keep it off a cold garage floor, even if it's on a thick piece of timber, to act as a cold shield. Recharge every eight weeks to help combat the natural self-discharge from non-use. Please do not leave it on a charger 24/7, either. This can do more damage than good. Charge it, then remove it from the charger.
