On this page, you can find the 12v 7ah battery that is compatible with the Razor Power Core E90. These batteries are not only entirely rechargeable but also environmentally safe and non-hazardous. Additionally, they are spill-proof and leak-proof, requiring no maintenance, providing a hassle-free experience.
Removing your old battery is quite easy. Turn off the power, and remove the six screws holding down the deck with a Phillips screwdriver. You may note that the two screws at the back are longer. You will then be able to see the battery, mounted on its side, held in by a metal strap and a further two Phillips screws. Once these are out, you can remove the battery, undoing the white (normally) plug first.
Now we have seen some of these batteries soldered on, so we have above in the available options some flat spade terminals as an added extra. So you can snip cables close the battery and put terminals on to them instead, you bare the cables back and crimp them on, if no crimping tool then use pliers to set them. This way when you change it again in a few years time it will be easier.
You may also note that there is the option under easy upgrades to choose the 8.8ah battery to give a longer runtime between charges, this means more miles per charge.
Upon receiving the batteries, it's essential to note that they are shipped more or less fully charged. However, due to the shipping process, some discharge may occur. Therefore, it is advisable to charge them before use. Most importantly, charge after every use and if not being used for six weeks, a top up charge will help keep the cells ready for next use.
