To maintain your new battery operating at peak performance, you must adhere to a few charging guidelines. When you receive your battery from us, make sure to completely charge it before using it for the first time. We ensure to ship them fully charged; however some energy may be lost during transit. It is also critical that you do not charge for more than a twenty-four hour period, since this can be harmful to the battery if left on for too long. You may then charge the battery after each use, and if it is not used for extended periods of time, such as during the winter, a top-up charge every eight weeks will be necessary.

Here at Battery Trader we do all we can to help the environment, so we encourage you to do the same and dispose of your old batteries at your local recycling centre. These batteries cannot be disposed of in household waste as these typically end up in landfill, where harmful chemicals may be released into the ground. By recycling these batteries we can help prevent the release of lead into the environment, reducing the risk of pollution and its detrimental effects. By also recycling lead, it allows for the recovery of very valuable materials, which can be reused in the production of new batteries and other products.

This is a direct replacement sealed-lead acid battery for the Peg-Perego 12v 7ah, which can also be upgraded to 8.8ah by using the easy upgrade section above. The 8.8ah battery is the same physical size, and this will simply provide longer running time in-between charges so your child can enjoy non-stop fun on their ride-on vehicles.
