The original battery that comes with this machine is a 12v 19ah battery and what we are offering here is a 22ah version of the same physical size to give you a little extra oomph. We are also able to offer a superior dedicated starter battery that will offer much more cranking ability which is usually sold to garages. The option to buy this will be on the alternative tab or the easy upgrade section above.
Upon delivery of the battery you should give it a full charge although it will have a substantial charge anyway. You also should charge after every use as leaving in a discharged state will damage the battery. If a period of 4-6 weeks goes by without use, which is quite often the case with jump starter packs then top up with charge but never leave on the charger for more than 24-hours.
