These batteries are maintenance free however since they are going into a jump pack which obviously drains the battery quickly when being used you must charge after every use. A standard AGM battery would need to be re-charged every 4-weeks if not in use but since this battery is manufactured to a much higher standard than usual you can push that back a lot more.
