As with all rechargeable batteries they will lose charge while not being actively used, so you must charge before first use, if you are not using the barcode scanner for long periods then charge every month or so to keep the cells active and fresh, this will go a long way to help extend the overall life of the battery for future use.

This battery is designed for the Casio with a capacity of 700 milliamp hours, it is manufactured by our ISO 9001 certified supplier to a very high standard.
