The Megamouth MK3 is an older model but still has plenty of features you would expect to find. Your replacement battery will be somewhat fully charged when it is delivered. But you should always fully charge a new rechargeable battery before using it for the first time. The ideal scenario is to fully recharge your device after every use, and then turn it off. Never leave it on longer than necessary. Give the battery a top-up charge if you won't be using your gadget for about four weeks to preserve the cells healthy for your next use.

It will take around ten charges and use in the Pulse Megamouth MK3 before it's able to accept a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries will go through at the start of their lives.
These batteries are sealed lead AGM and can be mounted on their side, making them (and your old ones) environmentally friendly and recyclable. When they reach the end of their useful life, please take them to your local recycling centre so that they can be transformed into something new and continue on their green journey.
