Charge your new batteries when they arrive and first used. If they will not be used for a long period then also recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order. The best advice we could offer is to charge after every use; it will never do them any good to leave in a discharged state for any period and certainly never try to fully discharge them; this will only shorten the expected life span.
