This size battery is most commonly found on motorbikes but can have a huge number of uses. The lithium-ion batteries have become ever more popular and it is easy to see why. Some of the biggest benefits to having lithium batteries are the ultra-lightweight nature of them and the high safety lithium provides. This compatible replacement battery is a huge upgrade to the original HJ01L-08-GFP & BT01L-16-GFP with a higher CCA but the same physical footprint.

Depending on what application this battery is going in will vary what the best way to maintain and look after it. However, there are a few main pieces of advice that you should take away with you. Firstly, a discharged battery is an unhealthy one. After every use, please charge your battery back up to full but never overcharge (or undercharge). Secondly, lithium batteries have a much longer shelf life than regular AGM versions, once a battery if fully charged it can stay “on the shelf” for three months or so before it needs recharging. If it goes past this time then the battery will start self-discharging and start damaging the internal cells.
