Battery life expectancy is between two to five years in this UPS, this will however will vary depending on the conditions or storage and overall use, good ventilation is always important, if it's in a office do not use it as a book shelf, also do not overload with to many devices, if you can keep the load below 40%, while the system may be of going higher than that its working the battery cell harder which means a shorter life span.
The battery cells are constructed using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology. They are also valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA). This is the recommended type of battery for this installation. They will not leak when mounted on the side, so they are safe to use in a UPS tower or rack-mountable configuration, without fear of spillage, in mission-critical applications such as a hospital or busy data centre, as well as the home office.
