The Invacare Meteor is a sturdy and tough mobility scooter. It comes with many options as standard, including a choice of batteries; the standard ones are a pair of 50-amp-hour batteries. However, longer-running 75-amp-hour ones are also available. If you're unsure what you already have, please check first. This offer is for a pair of standard-fit 50-amp-hour batteries.

Fitting of the batteries is easy, so is check what you already have, lift the lever to swivel your seat to the side, then grasp the seat firmly and pull straight up to release it form the scooter, you can then pull up the cowling from the rear to expose the batteries, the change undo the plug, undo the battery strap and you will need a 11mm spanner to undo the bolts, put the new batteries back in the reverse order, allowing ten minutes should be more than enough time.

Please fully charge your new batteries before first use, and charge them after each use. It's better to keep them charged than to let them sit discharged. If you're not using them for long periods, charge them every two months.
