Tips on looking after your new TGA-Ibex batteries
When you receive your new batteries, they will be more or less fully charged; however, you still need to charge them fully before first use. If you aren’t going to use the scooter for long periods, charge every four weeks to slow the natural self-discharge rate. Most importantly, charge after every use; never leave them discharged, as this can cause irreparable damage.
Looking to upgrade TGA-Ibex batteries?

These will not only provide more miles per charge, as they can discharge slightly more than regular AGM, but can also take the abuse of deeper discharge, so they should last longer overall if treated correctly. Installation
The hardest part of installing these batteries is often their weight; they are heavy because of the lead content inside. There aren’t any special tools needed for this, perhaps a screwdriver and some patience. They will be stored underneath the seat and should be fairly easy to access.
