This is the compact version of the Electric Mobility Rascal P327 powered wheelchair. It has all the main features, 4mph mid-wheeled Powerchair with a 21 stone capability, full suspension and suitable for both indoor and outside use, with puncture resistant drive wheels. It takes a pair of 12v 34/35Ah batteries as standard fit and that is what this offer is for, we can also supply Lithium batteries with the same physical size which will slip straight in.
The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid with the added benefit of absorbed glass mat, or AGM technology; this means they will not spill and can be taken on aeroplanes, but you should check with your airline when booking your flight; non-spillable, not hazardous.
Charge your new mobility batteries fully upon receipt and first use. We also strongly recommend charging after each use; it's never a good idea to leave your batteries partially discharged. Never try to run them down, and if not in use, charge every four weeks, but do not leave them on a charger for more than 20 hours at a time.
No maintenance is required, except, of course, charging.
