The PS450 is a small-factor enterprise and data centre uninterruptible power supply (UPS), rack-mountable at 1U height, with 450VA and 280 watts.
Changing the batteries is a simple and quick job; you should, of course, refer to your manual for instructions. But it is simply a matter of lifting off the front bezel; there is a finger hole for you. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to turn the battery door screws a quarter turn to the left (anticlockwise) and open the battery door. There will be a tab to pull out the batteries until you can see the connector. Prise this apart carefully, and you can then remove the battery pack the rest of the way. In the cradle, you will see a pair of batteries and a simple wiring loom; unless you are used to doing it, it may be a good idea to take a quick photo on your phone. just so you have something to refer to should someone knock on the door, then just swap the batteries over and replace in reverse order, not forgetting to reconnect the cable connector after sliding in about three-quarters of the way, allowing ten minutes should be plenty of time, and they are hot-swappable.
These are nearly always mounted in racks. Unless yours is dust-free, you should regularly make sure there is no dust restricting the vents. Use a vacuum to remove it; otherwise, these particles end up on the fan blades, reducing efficiency and leading to the system running hotter than it needs to, which in turn will mean a shorter life expectancy.
