The batteries are sealed lead-acid (VRLA, AGM).
The voltage of each battery is 12 V.
The batteries have an energy storage capacity of 5 Ah each.
Valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (VRLA, absorbed glass mat, AGM) are not spillable,
not hazardous, safe for use in data centres, and require no maintenance.
Just swap the batteries over one at a time so you do not get confused with the wiring. In an ideal situation, run the system up without any load for 24 hours to allow the batteries to settle properly. While we appreciate this will not always be possible, it is best practice.
