To qualify as a powered wheelchair, the Kymco K-Movie requires a set of batteries, which is exactly what we are offering here. This offer is for a pair of twelve-volt, fifty-ampere rechargeable batteries manufactured to the highest quality and recommended by Kymco. The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid, and although they're classed as maintenance-free, they still require a proper charging regime, which is explained below.
The first thing you should do after receiving and installing the batteries (which is simple and can be done with only a few basic tools; they are stored underneath the seat) is ensure they are fully charged before use. Most importantly, after every use, they need to be recharged. Leaving batteries in a discharged state is a sure fire way to ruin them. Another important note: if a period of five weeks or so passes without use, a top-up charge is required to keep them at full charge and ready for the next use.
