The Ford FG4500iSE is a handy-sized power maker in the size of a suitcase. It is well suited to cover the majority of domestic power requirements while away from mains supply, whether it be camping or in a caravan; you can be self-sufficient with this impressive 3.8Kw pack with a couple of 12A 230V sockets. It has a sine wave feature, which makes it all the better for running more sensitive equipment like phones and laptops.

The battery will arrive almost fully charged. You should, of course, fully charge it when it arrives and is first used, although there will probably be enough energy for the first start.
Now for the important bit: batteries need to be kept charged. If you use the generator every week, then it will do it for you. If, however, there are long periods between when it's not being charged, then recharge it every four to six weeks; else you will be using that pull cord again.
The battery is sealed and valve-regulated; it will not spill and needs no maintenance.
