Your new battery will arrive almost fully charged; the best advice we can give is to charge it on arrival, before first use, and certainly after it's been fitted. You have started your bike, and I'm sure you will not need a better excuse to get out on the road. If it's not being used much, a top-up charge every six weeks will help keep the cells in good order.
