The mobility scooter produced by Drive DeVilbiss-Viper offered modern styling and a whole host of useful features. It has a top speed of 8mph and a maximum range of twenty five or thirty miles in absolute perfect conditions and depending on what battery you have installed. Standard features include state-of-the-art controls, one-touch tiller adjustments, fully independent front and rear suspension, large alloys for high ground clearance, and an ergonomic adjustable seat.

How to charge and maintain Drive DeVilbiss-Viper scooter batteries?
When you receive your new batteries, they will be more or less fully charged, but you must fully charge them before first use and, most importantly, never leave them discharged. If you are not going to use the scooter for an extended period, charge it every four weeks to help slow the natural self-discharge rate.

Installation and user guide
The scooter's batteries are in a casing under the seat; accessing and replacing them is fairly simple, and the manual includes detailed instructions you can download, keep, and print if you like.
Firstly, switch off the scooter at the ignition and remove the seat. Lift the battery cover and disconnect the red battery connectors. Remove the Velcro straps from the battery and pull the battery out. To install the new batteries, do the same steps in reverse order.

Environmentally Friendly
Because they are made primarily of lead, they can be converted into another useful product when they no longer produce the required energy. This is only if you take them to a nearby recycling centre, which your municipality will have. This ends the product's natural life and ensures the recyclable energy source completes its life cycle properly.

Can this scooter take more than one size?
Yes, it can. This is important, so please read carefully and choose thoughtfully.

At the point of purchase, you would have had the option to choose either the smaller 50Ah batteries or the larger 79ah batteries. We can provide either one, but please check that what you are buying will physically fit in your battery casing. Below are the details of each battery you can choose from, and you can select which one you would like from the easy upgrade section above.
