The batteries you receive from us will be nearly fully charged, but it is still important to charge them before their first use. The only exception to this is if you are installing them in a device that has its own always-connected power supply, such as an alarm system, which will charge the batteries for you.

Charging should not take long; simply wait until your charger indicates that the batteries are ready. The actual time required will depend on your charger's capabilities. While you may be tempted to install the batteries and use the equipment immediately, please ensure you complete this first charging step, as it can extend the batteries' overall lifespan. 

Additionally, remember to charge the batteries after each use. If the batteries are not being used, recharge them every six weeks.

These 6-volt batteries are sealed lead-acid valve-regulated (VRLA) and further benefit from AGM technology. This means they will not spill, so they can be used indoors or in portable equipment without fear of leakage. They are capable of deep cycling, which is essential in this type of application, and they are not hazardous.
