Even though the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still complete a full charge before first use, if it's going into a device that is always connected to the mains like a battery backup for monitoring or alarm system then you can miss this step as it will do it for you, the period of this initial charge before use need only be until the charger states they are ready, probably not very long at all, you may well be impatient and use the equipment without charging but it's worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life expectancy.
