The Golvo range is a floor-based mobile patient lift used across hospitals and care settings to transfer someone between bed, chair, and standing with a sling rather than manual handling. The ES models carry a charger built into the lift itself, so it plugs straight into a standard wall socket without a separate charging unit, and dual-speed lifting lets the carer switch between a faster raise and a slower, gentler one depending on the transfer. The 7007ES is built to a higher safe working load than the 7000ES, but both share the same battery pack.

Liko has produced several generations of the Golvo family and each generation uses a different battery capacity, so it's worth checking the rating printed on the old battery against the 2.9Ah figure here before ordering, rather than assuming from the model number alone. The later Golvo uses a different type of battery completely.
Being a lift used for patient transfers, the manufacturer's guidance is to put it on charge every night after use rather than waiting for it to run flat, which keeps it ready for the next transfer and helps the pack hold its rated capacity over time. As with any sealed lead-acid battery, avoid letting it sit fully discharged for extended periods between uses.
