The task of installing the batteries is not a difficult one, you should refer to your manual for the full method, once you have them in the system it will fully charge them, even though they will come out to you almost charged it will still need to complete this task, while this is going on the system will of course not be able to offer the full runtime backup time period until it has finished doing this, you probably want to install and go, but its best to run the system without a load so it can properly reset
