After you unpack your new battery order from us, you'll notice it has a good charge. Regardless, you still need to fully charge it before first use. The first-charge time depends on the charger; just leave it on until it's finished. It probably won't take long. You may be impatient enough to fit and use the equipment without charging, but it's well worth waiting until it's fully charged, as it will help extend overall life expectancy.
You may not notice it, but it will probably take a few charges and uses before you can reach full battery capacity. This is quite a normal part of the conditioning process. After every use, put the batteries back on charge; letting them sit partially discharged is not wise. Fully discharging the batteries will only reduce their life expectancy.
