Below, you'll find all the information you need to renew a compatible battery for your Yucel Y1.2-6. These 6-volt batteries are deep-cycle capable, with an energy storage of 1.2 amp-hours. They are, of course, rechargeable- a very important requirement in this type of installation. They will not spill and are non-hazardous. After you unpack your new battery order from us, you'll notice it has a good charge; however, you should still fully charge it before first use. However, if it's a battery backup for something that's always connected to the mains, like a monitor or maybe an alarm system, then you don't need to charge it first, as the system will do that for you. There should be no need for many hours; it will probably not take very long at all, just until your charger indicates they are ready. This will, of course, depend on the charger's capabilities. You might want to fit them and use them, but that would be unwise unless, as stated above, skipping the initial charge could shorten overall life expectancy.
Please remember to fully charge your new Yucel Y1.2-6 Compatible battery when it arrives and before using it for the first time. If you won't use it for an extended period, recharge it every six weeks to keep the cells in good condition.
You should recharge your Yucel Y1.2-6 Battery after every use; it is never a good idea to let it sit discharged, as this will shorten the overall lifespan.
