The Luxe Mobility X700 Deluxe Sport is a solid, full-size mobility scooter aimed at comfortable, confident travel beyond short hops. It’s built to feel steady at pace, composed over everyday surfaces, and reassuring when you’re carrying a bit of extra weight like shopping. You will note that these are not the conventional size batteries and are slightly unusual.

This battery set consists of two 12V sealed lead-acid units, each rated at 38Ah @3hr or 44Ah @ 20hr, paired to provide the 24V supply required by the scooter. Sealed lead-acid remains popular in scooters because it’s stable, maintenance-free, and well suited to equipment that’s charged often and expected to be ready at short notice. It also delivers strong current when you need it, which helps keep starts smooth and predictable.
To get the most out of the new Luxe Mobility X700 Deluxe Sport battery set, avoid letting it run completely flat and recharge after each outing where possible. Keep the scooter stored somewhere cool and dry, and don’t leave it sitting discharged for long periods. Consistent charging and properly inflated tyres both reduce strain and help preserve real-world range.
In addition, we have been informed that they can also take a 67ah @20hr, normally marked 52ah @ 3hr. This is slightly larger in physical size, but apparently fits, so if you want to do more miles per charge, have a look at your existing batteries and contact us, perhaps with a pic, and we can confirm for you. This upgrade will be in the easy upgrades above.
