After you have installed these batteries it would be best to run the system without any load to start, this cements the conditioning of the batteries and properly resets the system to the new ones, while this is not essential we find it does a much better job and worth the time spent.
It would not be unreasonable to hope for a 2- to 5-year battery lifespan in the UPS. this is not a set rule though life span will change depending on how they are used, the batteries will certainly get hot in general use that's normal and it follows that the hotter they get the shorter the life so good ventilation is paramount, the higher the constant load applied the harder its working which directly relates to battery life, if you can try to keep it below 40%
These batteries can be mounted on the side without any issues, no leaking, which means they can be used in tower or rack-mountable situations. They are the recommended VRLA type and benefit from AGM technology. They are non-hazardous, so safe for use in critical environments
