This set includes four batteries, as required for the pallet trucks above.
The battery type is valve-regulated sealed lead, VRLA, AGM. They will not spill because they are sealed and require no maintenance, except, of course, charging.
Charging and maintenance EP EPT20-ET battery:
The very best way to keep the batteries in good order is to keep them charged. Charge when they arrive and at first use; do so after every use and if not using for long periods, then again every four weeks. Do not leave them on the charger longer than needed to fully charge. In a commercial setting, the batteries might not get the attention they deserve; as long as you know how to look after them, you can help them last longer.
It may take up to ten charges and uses in the pallet truck before the cells can take a full-capacity charge; this is normal and part of the conditioning process all rechargeable batteries go through.
