Do either the red or green light go out when charged? I have had my new batteries on charge for 8 hrs. now and the red light is still on.

This charger was bought to charge the battery on my Pride Apex Rapid mobility scooter. I am very pleased with this battery. It has a red light indicating charging followed by a green light when charging is complete. These indicators were not present on the original charger provided with the scooter, & I have found them very helpful. The charger works effectively & I would certainly purchase this again if needed.

Fantastic quality product that was delivered quickly. Purchased new batteries and charger for my wife's mobility scooter, having had previous cheap replacements fail after almost exactly one year. I ordered 2, 24volt 15Ah batteries and a 24 volt 4 ampere battery charger on January 30th and received them both on the 2nd February excellent service, I found them easy to fit and both products are working fine we are very happy with them, and to make things even better we received a refund of the VAT today, many thanks to all at Battery Trader, we will definitely use you again Mr R Booth.

that would depend on the charger, if it's one of our intelligent multi stage chargers it would continue on different cycles to get the best out of your battery, if you have put them on old batteries for the first charge might be wise to leave them overnight. You could try unplugging in leave a minute or so and plugging it back in you will probably find its green, then after period will go back to red as it attempts to try a different level of charge to get the best it can from the cells.
