We're selling a Motobatt MBTZ7S, produced to a high standard, as with all their batteries. This high vibration-resistant, no-spill AGM battery is often fitted to motorbikes and will directly replace YTX5L-BS, YTZ6S, and YTZ7S for more starting power when you need it.
Maintaining your battery is pretty easy if you follow a few simple rules. The battery is factory sealed and maintenance-free, but please still take care of it. If you use your bike a couple of times a week year-round, you are already doing the best thing for it. If the bike will not be used, take it off the floor or disconnect the cables. Store it off the floor and charge every six weeks on a normal charger, but never for more than 24 hours. We don't recommend leaving optimisers on your battery all the time; they may trigger an unnecessary charge. While this is probably better than ignoring it all winter, it can have its drawbacks. It’s a compromise that may not be worth it. It's better to give the battery attention every four to six weeks so it's functional come the following season.
