There are quite a few different APC Smart-UPS 1500 models, some are floor standing, some are tower, some very thin rack mounted and they will all say APC Smart-UPS 1500 written on the front which can certainly make it difficult to the end user so we always recommend that you look on the reverse of the unit, probably on a little sticker you will have the model number, in this case it will be for the SU1500i, if it does not say that then use what is written there in the search box above to find the right one, some of them will use the same battery pack, but not all of them so its worth spending 2 minutes to look and check.

After installation if you are able to is better to allow the system to run up without load at least until the new batteries indicate that they are fully charged, this will take less time than you may imagine as they will come you almost fully charged ans from experience we would say this is the best way to help your system reset itself to the new energy source as well as any other information in your owners manual.
